Generation Businesses
Your marketing produces an enquiry. The sale happens weeks or months later. Ringside ties the whole journey together.
HowRingsideworks:
1. Collect
Our tracker records every visit and event on your website, accepted cookies or not.
2. Connect
Your CRM, call tracking, ad platforms and martech are integrated into one place.
3. Aggregate
Everything is joined into journeys that run from first click to closed deal.
4. Report
Access a shared dashboard, a daily email, and the raw data underneath.
Everyone counts enquiries.
Almost nobody counts what they turn into. Do you?
Your analytics stops at the form. Your CRM starts at the form and knows nothing about the six visits that came before it. Your ad platforms report conversions they’ve claimed themselves, on windows that close long before your sale does.
So the enquiry gets measured. The appointment, the quote, the site visit, the deposit and the completion all happen somewhere else, and nothing joins them back to the campaign or activity that actually started it. Familiar?
It means you’re optimising your marketing against an event that isn’t, well, the event. The channel that fills your CRM with tyre-kickers looks the same as the one that’s quietly delivering buyers. And sometimes it even looks better, because the leads are cheaper. But how much is it actually costing you?!

One journey, three views
Ringside captures everything.
Alongside all the things you’d expect from traditional website analytics, we collect ‘micro events’ such as newsletter sign-ups or page categorisations, and ‘macro events’ like leads and purchases. We combine this with your external data such as CRM updates, phone calls or in-store purchases and use it to form a detailed timeline of each customer’s journey from acquisition to lead, to sale, and beyond.
This means the click and the closed deal are the same journey.
Switch:
When the sale happens 6 months after the click
Ringside has spent the last 4 years working with a national UK holiday park operator that sells holiday home ownership. It starts with an enquiry form and ends with a completion months later, almost entirely away from the website.
They track five stages after the enquiry: speed to lead, lead to appointment, appointment show, deposit, and completion, over a typical three to six month cycle. When the sale lands, the marketing that started it is still attached.

Marketing data that’s actually useful
Lead quality, not lead volume
Cost per lead stops being enough the moment quality varies by source.
Because the outcome comes back from your CRM, channels get judged on what their leads become.
Cost per lead → cost per qualified lead → cost per sale → value per enquiry, by source.
That means the channel that looks expensive per lead and cheap per contract stops getting cut by mistake. And the one filling your pipeline with people who never show up to an appointment stops looking like your best performer.
But the outcomes don’t only come back in. When requested, we can push conversions and modelled values out to the ad platforms, so the bidding optimises towards the enquiries that become deals. Read more on data access →
Your actual sales cycle, not just a 90-day window
When the sale lands months after the click, same-month ROAS is fiction. Most reporting either pretends the lag isn’t there or writes the channel off as unmeasurable. And more often than not, the platforms themselves put hard limits on how late a conversion can be imported.
Ringside has no lookback limit. Journeys stay open for as long as they stay open, and when a deal finally closes the model attributes it back across everything that contributed, including that visit from last spring.
Which means you can follow this month’s enquiries forward to whatever they become, rather than crediting this month’s completions to whatever marketing happened to be running when they landed.
Live within a week; we look after it
One field on your lead form and read access to your CRM. We do the rest.
We connect the journey on your website to the lead in your CRM, then bring back everything that happens afterwards: qualification, calls, appointments, quotes, sales, value - and whatever else is useful to you. Using call tracking? That comes in too.
We’ll build the events, sort out the campaign tagging and manage every connection. If something genuinely needs development at your end, you’ll know before you sign.
When things change later, you ask us. A new event, a rebuilt site, a new market, a different CRM. There’s no change request and no quote, because we’re what you’re paying for.
Whatever you’re running - including something you built in-house fifteen years ago - we’ll build the connection.
Your CRM is a mess? That’s fine.
Everyone thinks their CRM is the worst one we’ve ever seen. Honestly? None of them have been.
Your sales teams put things in the wrong field. Half the records carry a status that stopped meaning anything two years ago. Someone’s been running a parallel spreadsheet since 2019. None of that stops us working, because we match on identifiers - not on how tidy your CRM is.
One client changed their CRM halfway through a year, and every lead identifier changed format with it. We rebuilt the matching so the old IDs and the new ones lined up, and the journeys stayed whole across the move.
Private, by default
We don’t collect names, email addresses, phone numbers or IP addresses, amongst other things. When we pull from your CRM we take the fields we need and leave the rest, so nothing personal is ever stored in Ringside.
What we hold is enough to know that this enquiry became that deal and what marketing was involved, and not enough to know who anyone is.
We host it all in the EU.
Know which ad produced the phone call
If some of your leads pick up the phone instead of filling in a form, those leads are currently invisible. We integrate with your call tracking provider and put every call into the journey alongside the visits, the ads and the CRM activity. Your inbound call yesterday becomes a touchpoint in a journey that started with a paid search click three weeks earlier.
Haven’t got call tracking? We work with several providers and we’ll point you at the right one.
Win the argument about whose lead it was
Every platform counts any conversion it had a hand in, using its own window, with no sight of the others. Add the reports together and they describe more deals than you’ve won, which is how a budget conversation turns into three people defending three dashboards.
Ringside anchors to your CRM. The outcome your sales team recorded is what everything else gets reconciled against, so each deal is counted once and split across whatever contributed to it. What a platform reports is what it influenced. What Ringside reports is what closed.
Both sit side by side in the dashboard, so when someone asks why your number is lower than the one in Meta, you have an answer rather than an argument.
Count every enquiry you paid for
People researching a considered purchase spend weeks on your site before they fill in anything, and a good number of them never touch your cookie banner. Someone who declines isn’t tracked, but the visit and the enquiry still register, along with the campaign that brought them in.
Your cost per enquiry is calculated against all the traffic you paid for.
More than just last click
Verisure runs a demand-led lead generation model: a nationwide team of Security Experts closing sales in customers' homes, fed by a consistent flow of quality bookings. Judging channels on last-click leads alone undervalued the touchpoints that educate customers and lead to better-quality sales. Ringside covers the full journey. Every website interaction before the lead, through the call centre, to the Security Expert visit.
If you’re on GA
GA measures your website. Your business doesn’t finish on your website.
You can push some of this into GA yourself, and consent mode will model the visitors you couldn’t track. The question is what you have to build and staff to get there, and then what you’re left with when you do. What most teams actually run isn’t GA on its own, it’s GA plus a tag manager plus a Looker Studio report plus an export plus the person who understands how they fit together all combined with a little magic and hope. That person (and that hope!) costs more than we do.
Ringside arrives joined up and stays that way, because keeping the connections running is our job rather than yours. Here’s how we handle that →
But you don’t have to switch anything off. Plenty of our clients keep GA running alongside while they get comfortable. Upgrading from GA →
Unsampled, and yours to build on
...If you want to, of course. Our dashboard is great :-)
Available to you is every visit, every event, every enquiry, raw and aggregated. Nothing estimated from a subset, so the number in our dashboard and the number your analyst calculates will always agree.
Query it directly, export it, or connect it to whatever your business already reports in. Agencies build client reporting on it, in-house teams wire it into their own dashboards. Infinite options. If you ever leave, take the data with you.
Yesterday’s numbers, before you’re at your desk
Every morning, Ringside works out how yesterday went and why, then emails it to you in plain English with what it reckons you should do about it. Daily, weekly or both, and everyone who wants it picks their own cadence.
It’s how the people who never log into a dashboard stay across the numbers anyway.

We don’t ask you to commit blind
Good data takes a few weeks of collection before it means anything. That’s true of every tool in this category, and anyone telling you otherwise is showing you noise.
Our contracts run for twelve months. But if three months in you’re not convinced, you can break it.
Still not sure?
Everything’s included and we do the setup.
